'The Eco Way To Dry Each Day'...
The Sheila Maid kit comes complete with:
- 4 x Timber laths/rails
- 2 x Rack ends
- 1 x Single and 1 x Double Pulley
- 1 x Cleat/wall tie for holding rope secure
- 1 x 10 metre long cotton rope.
We offer a choice of 2 colours - black or white. Choosing a colour means selecting the colour of the cast iron parts (rack ends which hold the wooden laths, pulleys and cleat) you would prefer. The 'Original' Black is the first Sheila Maid® produced and remains the most popular. White is the other option available here at The Old Mill Stores

The 4 rail Sheila Maid® is 39.5 cm or 15.5" deep.
The 6 rail Sheila Maid is 56 cm or 22" deep.
The 2 extra rails will give you 50% more drying space!
There are 3 lengths to choose from: 1.45 m/57" 1.83 m/72" 2.13 m/84"
Tips before buying - We recommend reading before buying your Sheila Maid.
- Sheila Maid must be affixed to ceiling joist - not simply screwed into ceiling plasterboard.
- Check with builder/engineer if you intend installing in concrete (eg Ducon) ceiling. It can be done but special fixings required.
- Measure/Check the intended location for Sheila Maid carefully to make sure it will fit, can be secured properly and safely and can be easily lowered and raised. Opened/damaged boxes cannot be returned.
- Read Description section above for detailed information on Sheila Maid Kit contents, materials, sizes, colours etc,.
- In the interest of safety please tie Sheila Maid cord fully and securely to its cleat and out of reach of children or pets.
- Note our Returns Policy - Let us know (within 7 days of receipt) by email if you intend to return a Sheila Maid - theoldmillstores@gmail.com Goods must be returned in in a resalable condition for a refund or replacement.
